Afternoon, visit Hanoi 36 Old Quarter streets for discovery and shopping, Hang Gai, Hang Dao, Hang Ngang, etc. with hundreds of specialty shops selling silk clothing, lacquerware, embroidered linens, furniture, bamboo, cooking utensils … and shopping at local famous Dong Xuan market, take a short time to visit Hoan Kiem Lake (The Returned Sword Lake whose name comes from a legend of a sacred sword) at sunset.

End of the day, we visit An-Noor mosque. It was built and in use in 1890 by Indian businessmen who came to Vietnam to live and do business. That is why the architecture of Al-Noor was mainly designed in Indian style. For over 100 years, it has been the praying place of Vietnamese and foreign Mohammedans. Dinner at local restaurant. Following breakfast leave Hanoi for 4 hours drive to Ha Long Bay including a 20-minutes stop on the way. Arrive at the jetty in Ha Long City towards noon and proceed with check-in formalities. Be welcomed onboard and have lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay itself. In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on board. Towards the end of the day the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board.
