Sim Cards: One of the most convenient places to buy a SIM card in Vietnam is the airport. As soon as you exit the baggage claim area in any of Vietnam’s international airports, you’ll find multiple stalls selling SIM cards. The country has four main network operators - Viettel, Vinaphone, Mobifone, and Vietnamobile - offering prepaid SIM cards.

Opening Hours: There are no specific opening hours in Vietnam. However, standard shops tend to open around 9:30-10:00AM and close around 9:39-10:00PM while local markets and street vendors often start as early as 6:00 AM. Public offices, on the other hand generally operate from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.

Electrical standards: Vietnam mainly uses two-pin plugs (Types A, C, and F), with a standard voltage of 220V and a frequency of 50Hz. While three-pin sockets are available, they are less common, so bringing a universal adapter is recommended
