Day 01

Ho Chi Minh City Arrival

Upon arrival, welcomed by a traditional girl with flower garland at the airport. And then meet our guide and driver then transfer to the hotel for check in (check in time: 14:00).

Ho Chi Minh City, formerly named Saigon, is the largest city and economic center of Vietnam always bustling with activities of modern life. It is where businesses converge, and shoppers indulge themselves in unlimited choices. However, the city also carries with it a rich historical legacy in contrast with its dazzling glamor.

Afternoon, meet our guide at your hotel for a captivating city tour of Ho Chi Minh City. Begin with a visit to the War Remnants Museum, which houses a comprehensive collection of machinery, weapons, photos, and documentation from the Vietnam War, illustrating both French and American involvement. Continue to the Reunification Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 1975, a pivotal landmark in the city's history.

As evening falls, enjoy your free time exploring Ho Chi Minh City's vibrant nightlife. You might discover unique souvenirs and local delights at the bustling Night Market (open from Friday to Sunday), or simply stroll and shop through the charming Old Quarter. For a taste of authentic local flavors, stop by one of the lively beer stations, or relax with a cup of coffee at a City view cafe to admire the sparkling city lights. Day 02

Ho Chi Minh City – Cooking Class – Cu Chi Tunnels

Meet our guide at your hotel lobby to begin a day of unique experiences. The morning starts with a delightful culinary adventure at Ben Thanh Market, where you'll join an experienced local chef. Your instructor will guide you through a true shopping experience, sharing insights on ingredients and how to select the freshest produce. With bags full of fresh vegetables, meat, tropical fruits, and exotic herbs, you'll then transfer to the Cookery Center. Here, the chef will unveil the secrets of Vietnamese cuisine, from authentic recipes to precise ingredient preparation and balanced flavor combinations. You'll be amazed at your ability to create typical main dishes, desserts, and drinks. Afterwards, relax and savor your self-cooked lunch, feeling a true sense of accomplishment.

After lunch, embark on a journey approximately 75 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City to visit the renowned Cu Chi Tunnels. These famous tunnels were once a major underground hideout and resistance base during past conflicts. Entirely hand-dug, this intricate network of multi-level passageways, stretching over 120 km, housed meeting rooms, kitchens, clinics, and emergency exits, showcasing incredible ingenuity for guerrilla warfare. The tunnels were designed to withstand heavy bombings and prolonged sieges.

As evening approaches, enjoy a special dinner aboard the Princess Cruise as it glides along the river. Conclude your day with an overnight stay at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 03

Ho Chi Minh City Full Day Ben Tre Tour

After breakfast at your hotel, embark on a scenic journey approximately 136 km to Ben Tre, a charming province in the Mekong Delta, a drive of about 2 hours. Upon arrival at Hung Vuong Pier, you'll begin a captivating boat tour along the Ben Tre River, observing lively local activities like fishing and water transport amidst lush mangrove trees. Stop at My Long village for a stroll to see traditional rice paper making and sample some delicious rice cakes. Your boat journey continues through winding canals fringed by coconut jungles, where you'll visit a local coconut workshop to witness the fascinating process of coconut processing. Further on, a stop at a bee garden offers a chance to enjoy fresh fruits, honey, and traditional local music. Take a short walk along riverside paths to a coconut candy mill for a tasting, then experience rural life with a cycle ride or tuk-tuk tour through coconut groves and village paths. Enjoy an authentic lunch at Ba Danh farmer's house by the river, relaxing in their beautiful orchid and bonsai garden. Conclude your Mekong Delta adventure with a tranquil rowboat ride through shady palm tree canals back to the Ben Tre River, then return to Hung Vuong pier by motorboat before transferring back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Enjoy some free leisure time before a delightful dinner at a local restaurant. The evening culminates with the spectacular A O Show. This captivating performance, whose name 'A O' derives from 'Lang Pho' (village and city), beautifully depicts the charming cultural richness of Vietnamese rural life contrasting with the nation's rapid urbanization. The show is a unique and vibrant blend of bamboo circus, acrobatic acts, traditional dance, and theatrical visual art, all set to live music echoing Vietnamese Southern work songs. This exquisite fusion of genres creates a unique stage language, powerfully capturing the essence of Vietnam's fascinating culture.

Vietnam uses the Vietnamese Dong (VND) for most daily transactions. While some places may accept USD or EUR, it’s not very common, so it’s always more convenient to pay in local currency.

Cash is still widely used, especially in local markets and small shops while credit cards are accepted at hotels, malls, and more upscale restaurants, sometimes with a small surcharge.

ATMs are easy to find in cities and tourist areas, so withdrawing cash is generally simple and convenient.
