A gentle introduction to Vietnam. The journey begins in the north, among the old-world character of Hanoi and the peaceful beauty of Ha Long Bay. Beyond the capital, limestone islands rise from calm green waters, creating a landscape that feels almost removed from the bustle of everyday life.

Vietnam in a different light. As the journey moves south, the country gradually changes in character. There is the warmth and charm of Hoi An, the lively spirit of Ho Chi Minh City, and finally the Mekong Delta, with its tropical greenery and waterways winding quietly through local communities. Together, they reveal a more colourful and intimate side of Vietnam.

The timeless beauty of Cambodia. Cambodia adds a completely different atmosphere to the journey. Phnom Penh offers a glimpse into the country's royal heritage and complex past, before Angkor becomes the final highlight. Ancient temples emerge between trees and forest, their weathered stones and intricate carvings carrying the stories of the Khmer civilisation through centuries.

Its complexity was beyond imagination containing meeting rooms, kitchens, wells, clinics, schools, depots, trenches and emergency exits all aimed for guerrilla warfare.
