From old streets to open waters. The journey begins in Hanoi, where temples, lakes and the streets of the Old Quarter offer an easy introduction to the capital. From here, the scenery changes as you travel to Ha Long Bay and spend a night cruising among its limestone islands, waking up to a quiet morning surrounded by the water.
High above the coast. In Central Vietnam, head into the mountains of Ba Na Hills, where the cable car carries you high above the forests and across to the famous Golden Bridge. With wide views over the surrounding landscape and plenty of time to explore at the top, it brings a completely different setting to the journey.
Lanterns and life by the river. Around Hoi An, the day begins among the coconut palms of Cam Thanh, exploring the waterways by traditional basket boat. Later, slow down in the old town as evening approaches and the lanterns begin to light the streets and river. With old houses, local shops and boats passing along the water, Hoi An is a warm and relaxed place to bring the journey to a close.

Currently and payment systems
Vietnam uses the Vietnamese Dong (VND) for most daily transactions. While some places may accept USD or EUR, it’s not very common, so it’s always more convenient to pay in local currency.
Cash is still widely used, especially in local markets and small shops while credit cards are accepted at hotels, malls, and more upscale restaurants, sometimes with a small surcharge.
ATMs are easy to find in cities and tourist areas, so withdrawing cash is generally simple and convenient.
